Meggafast is relatively new in the business and as per their website they provide an affordable service and 128 bit encryption on private file transfers. They offer one of the cheapest plans out there. Their lowest plan is just $3.33.

We will be reviewing their Megga Box 100 plan which has the following features/specs:

100GB Storage
2.5 GB/s line
Unlimited bandwidth
Unlimited Torrents
Rutorrent GUI
Public Trackers Allowed
Control Panel
SSL Certified
HTML Download / Upload
24/7 Support

Other Meggafast plans they offer are available here: Meggafast Plans

Our seedbox runs in rtorrent with rutorrent as its interface.Downloading 4 popular torrents took about 8 minutes to download completely. Average download/upload speed is between 10-12Mbps. We expected more for a 2.5Gbps line. We will note here that the uploaded files are of different file sizes with different number of peers and seeds available. As expected, common an smaller sizes finishes the downloading first ahead of the other bigger files.

Customer Service

Before we decided to review Meggafast, we searched the web for some other reviews and found reviews from users complaining about poor customer service. A few weeks back we contacted them a few times about affiliate questions and we never got a response from them.

While testing this seedbox for a few days, we are happy to say that we’ve had a good experience so far. Our tickets were answered almost immediately. It’s possible that they are now under new management so I recommend trying out their services.

Meggafast’s control panel only has few features. You can change your password, view username/password, restart your client and view billing details. It would have been nice if there’s a way to view our seedbox link or have the seedbox login details resent to your email in case you lose the Meggafast Connection Settings email.
